Unacceptable reaction to customer transaction

My card transaction for a phone cover was approved by the bank and confirmed by sms, however the branch's credit card machine rejected the transaction. The attendant referred the matter to the manager/owner, Malcolm, who approached me and started screaming and shouting at me "it has been rejected" for about five minutes while disregarding the other customers in the branch and not answering my request as to how we can resolve the matter. He refused to look at bank statements and the sms proving that the transaction was indeed confirmed. This unprovoked emotional and unbusiness-like manner is completely unacceptable and has brought an end to a 6 year long relationship with this branch.
