I called MTN direct to upgrade my contract with MTN in January and requested a top up option as I have been on this plan with MTN all along. Upon realisation that my airtime wasnt running out I called to enquire about what plan I had been put on the agent told me that I had been put on an open line. I asked to change this as it isnt what I wanted I was told that a manager would call me back, i waited for the call to no avail. I called back and reiterated ther story I again was told a manager would call me back. Again no one has got back to me, the internet charges amounted to almost R3000, I called and told my story again and was promised a manager would call me back. This still hasnt happened, I then called with the same request and asked that my GPRS be stopped as I didnt want to incur any further charges i was told this was done in 24hrs this too didnt happen. Although I cannot recall the original sales agents name it is on the system as the other agents have told me. I would like to listen to the original recorded call where I asked for the top up pricing plan. I am very frustrated now as the charges keep mounting as lots of programmes run in the backround.
