After months of being passed from one person to another with regards to my complaint, I am stll at square one. Cell C website clearly shows the area which I live in to have strong HSPA signal on their coverage map. I've spoken to numerous consultants and they have come to the conclusion that the tower responsible for coverage in my area is too far away from me, or that there is some terrain interrupting the signal. Cell C did send some guys over to me, who did tests and analysis on the coverage and internet speed. The guy himself saw that I had problems even connecting to the network, and he himself believed that the speed was beyond pathetic. He said that the data he had collected had to be analyzed and that a new tower would have to be errected, although months later I have not had any improvement. I do not believe that Cell C will be errecting a new tower anytime soon, and even if they are, they should provide me with a means to sustain an acceptable internet connection by ulilizing antennas of some sort to boost the signal - for the time being. I am very disappointed, I expected a lot more from Cell C with all their positive reviews.
