I have used a Cell C 3G Modem for more than 4 years at the same address and have always had reasonable coverage. From the beginning of this year things just went from bad to worse. I have laid a complaint to Cell C and a technician came out very quickly and tested the signals and everything and for the next few weeks the signal was the best it ever was. However the last three weeks coverage is so bad that we can't even sent emails with no attachments some days.
I saved the IP address the CellC Technician used to test the connection speed and did my own speed tests. The speed test I took this morning shows a download speed of 191kbps and a upload speed of 9kbps with a ping speed latency of 3229ms. Most of the time the speed test fails, because the connection is to slow.
We had no choice but to install a ADSL line and I now want to cancel my contract as I cannot even come close to using my 2GB of data at home.
