Bad Service Delivery

I am currently passed the duration of my 24 month contract and I still can't get MTN to process my conversion to a pay-as-you-go service. Firstly, I went to the Tygervalley Centre branch to end the contract, but after waiting for so long in a line, I was told to phone the 808 line from my cellphone since I want to keep my number that was mine to start with. I was a pay-as-you customer before so now it is an issue to keep my cellphone number. I don't get this!
Secondly, I was then told by Patience Moloko when I called the 808 service to complete a form and email it to MTN on the 19th of March 2013 to do the conversion. I did so and also emailed it to MTN's email at [Email Removed] On the 29th of March 2013, I had no response yet, even just to acknowledge receipt of my email. I phoned the 808 line again, and then had to hear that no feedback is available yet. H
How does this work? How long will this take?
I'm so disgusted in this service!!
