Misinforming Customers to get the Sale

I took out a contract at Cell C in Waterfront, within 7 days I discovered that the handset was faulty it was making a "zzz" sound I then took the phone to the Canal Walk branch only to be told "you didn't buy the Handset here so we cant replace it or look whats wrong with it because you didn't buy it here go back to the store you bought it from."

I then called the Waterfront Branch and explained what the handset was doing only to be told at 20h45 "if you bring the handset in tomorrow we will have to send it in for repairs as it would be the 8th day that you have the Handset"
I refused to take a brand new handset in for repairs when i took out my contract at Waterfront Tauriq never informed me that if anything was wrong with the handset i had to take it back to Waterfront.
I then spend 2.5 hours on the phone with the call centre then i spoke to a guy called Vivan who informed me to go to either Cavendish or Waterfront and tell them to book the phone in as an OBS CPA and I'll get a new phone immediately. When I called the Store they told me i have to wait 1 to 2 months to get a new phone.
I then called the call centre again on 25-03-13 and was told someone would call me.
