Poor data signal in Midstream Estates

In May 2013 I took out a 20GB data contract with Cell C through Nashua Mobile, using a Huawei wifi modem. From the beginning we have had limited signal in our house (18 Mt Balchen Cres, Midlands Estate, Midstream, 1692). There are a few areas in the house where we get good signal with the modem, but this only lasts for maybe a day, then we have to move the modem to another spot. Even when the modem shows a 'green' light for signal, our internet connection is still so slow that we can't even send emails. I have tested the connection speed using the Ookla [URL Removed] app, these are some of the results: 19 Aug 13 8h35: PING 1286ms, Dwnld 0.03Mbps, Upld 0.01Mbps; 24 July 13 14h55: PING 1646ms, Dwnld 0.02Mbps, Upld 0.35Mbps. I have also had good signal at home, eg. 15 Aug 2013 10h34: PING 60ms, Dwnld 2.78Mbps, Upld 0.93Mbps, but it is not consistent. I have great signal if I just go to the nearby Centurion Mall, so it is NOT a modem issue. I filled in the Cell C coverage form at Nashua Mobile Centurion. The response from Cell C was that there is signal in the area, and that I should have my modem checked. I am NOT happy. I want Cell C to send someone to test the signal at my house.
