I signed for uncapped lite to the amount of R279 per month on 01/02/2013. As usual, the branch did not have a modem in stock. I was advised to collect the unit the following week. The unit was only received on 20/02/2013. I enquired as to when the contract will be activated and was informed that the contract would be activated when I collect the unit. I received an SMS from MTNSP on 20/02/2013 advising me that I have been successfully upgraded and that my next upgrade is on 20/02/2015. Great was my surprise when I received an account for R1849.35 this month.( My average on the old contract was R613.77 per month) We queried the amount from the branch and was advised that the contract was only activated on 11/03/2013. I feel ripped off!
