Faulty samsung galaxy s4

Good day. the cell phone i have now is a samsung galaxy s4 which i got in august 2013. the same day i received it, it took me 3 hours the get the phone to synch with my laptop to get my contacts on my phone, i had it for less than a month and took it back wanting my contract to be swopped over to an iphone as that is what i had before and NEVER had ANY issues. at this very moment my contacts on the samsung s4 is not working, i can acces them but CANNOT add or even edit them at all. all that vodacom keeps telling me is that i chose the phone and that it is my problem. the thing is I DO NOT WANT THIS PHONE ANYMORE IT IS REDICULOUSLY SLOW AND UNSTABLE. the thing is i wanted to have my contract swoped over to an iphone in less than a month after i got it, and now the phone keeps getting worse and more frustrating. please just accomodate me with this
