I live in Groenkol Middelburg Mpumalanga, in the middle of town and am so frustrated by the poor 3G reception on my Modem Sim. I pay for a 3G service but more often than not I only have GPRS signal which is useless! I cannot do any work online and have to go and sit outside to get a proper signal as I am currently doing just to lodge this complaint! I previously contacted MTN and a consultant said he will mail me a form which I had to complete for their technical department. I explained to him in an email that I do not have the time to wait for their technical department to come and assess the situation and to give me information on what I need to purchase (antenna, etc) to rectify the problem immediately. In the meantime I've purchased a Vodacom Sim card and modem in order to go online, but I am paying monthly for a 3G MTNservice which can't be used as needed and paid for.
