In 2011 I took out a Blackberry contract. The phone (Bold 9700) failed exactly 10 days after the contract started. Altech took it in for repairs, and 6 weeks later, after many phone calls regarding my phones whereabouts, I was issued with a replacement REFURBISHED handset. I didn't think this was fair, as I had only had the original phone for just over a week, but was unwilling to wait any longer for them to sort their problems out.
Unsurprisingly, the refurbished phone started giving problems about 2 months ago. I took it to Altech for repairs on the 19 Feb.
Last week I called to find out how long the repair would still take, as they said I could expect to wait 2 to 6 weeks. I'm still waiting for the repair department to update me as I was promised.
So far, for 3 months of my Blackberry contract, I haven't had Blackberry service because of their faulty phones. Yet I've paid my bill every month. How is this acceptable???
