Poor cominication

We are on a 2 year Top up contract and only have my samsung galxy s 3 for 10 months and the micro sim stopted working now they expect us to pay for a sim swap. My husband is the accout holder but i am using the phone. i am blind and went to fetch the phone at he Jacquiline mall in Alberton and was not told about a 3 moth garentee on my sim my husband was in hospitaal at that time with a work unjury. I just feel that we were't told and i feel that they dont cater for viseuly inpered poeple so please help me we dont have money to do a sim swap ebery 3 to 10 months. regards. chantel my ref for my complant is.
