Firstly, my iPhone 5 took about 8 weeks to arrive after ordering - this is ridiculous when compared with other cell phone networks.
My phone eventually arrived at Cell C Sandton and I went to collect it, upon upgrading and collecting I was told that should there be a problem with the phone in the first 7 days of use it would be REPLACED. Once I got home and started using the phone, I noticed a yellow colour at the bottom of the screen, correct me if I am wrong but for a R9000 phone, this is unacceptable and the phone needs to be replaced. The next day my husband took the phone back to Cell C fully expecting to be given a new phone there and then. Not so.. the phone was taken in for assessment and we were told to wait 7 days for a new one. Highly frustrating as my sim has now been converted to a nano sim and cannot be used in any other device. It is now 14 days since my upgrade and I am paying for a contract that I cannot use. This is completely unacceptable, I am losing business as I cannot be contacted and I am paying for a service that is not available. It surely cannot take this long to issue a new phone!!! Why can other networks issue a new phone on the same day for an OBF?
