Hi Cell C
I have had my iPhone 5 on a Cell C contract for about 4 or 5 months now. Yesterday the phone just started turning off by itself every 5 minutes and also having a signal problem. I took the phone to the Cell C head office on Rivonia Road to the customer service where they booked the phone in. When the consultant indicated that it would take 21 days this was a shock to me. How can it take 3 weeks to repair a phone that is 5 months old and still under warranty? I understand it has to be sent to apple but 21 days is extremely long. Will C Cell refund me 3 weeks of payment I make towards the phone, I think not? Furthermore if I took this phone to Apple direct the lead time would be substantially less. In this case Cell C is the consumer contact and should ensure that customer service is of the utmost importance and with a 21 day repair this is unacceptable.
Maybe I should not pay my account for 3 weeks and see how Cell C react!!!
