On the 08/06/2013, I took out a contract with Cell C for the Iphone 5. I then returned the phone on the 7th day (14/06/2013) as the phone switched off for no reason and would not switch back on again.

I did not receive a new phone immediately and was told that the phone needed to be sent to Joburg and that approval was needed before I would receive a new phone. They performed a sim swop so that I could use my old phone.

I then had to continuously call the Cell C branch to find out when I would receive the new phone. A new phone was then eventually received on the 25/06/2013 (11 days later) and was told that the old nano sim that was originally in the Iphone should work.

On the 26th June 2013, when trying to use the old micro sim the phone says no service. Upon calling the Cell C branch, I was told that the wrong phone was given to me as this IMEI was linked to another customer. I was then told that I would have to return the phone and collect a new one.

This is utterly ridiculous. I will not be returning this phone. Cell C will have to collect this phone and deliver a new one. The new nano sim should also be re-activated asap. I am paying for a phone I cannot use!
