My husband and I are MTN customers (contract phones) for more than 10 years. On 20 February 2013, I've been to MTN Woodlands Branch, Pretoria, to upgrade on current cell phone contract. Whiles there, applied for a data bundle contract. The sales people informed me that approval will take 2 days, which is quite disturbing, seeing that I'm MTN a client for so long. After almost 7 days, no response from the MTN office, I've tried to contact them, with no avail. After 10 days again, same story, at the end got hold of them, only that MTN inform me that their lines were on and off, and the application therefore was not processed as yet. Thereafter, the application was finally approved, but the latest, they don't have any stock, and a system generated sms get send to me on a daily basis. It is now exactly 1 MONTH LATER, and still no Internet from MTN. This is really the worst customer service ever. It needs to be mentioned, that whiles I'm not a Vodacom customer, they approve on the spot (RICA compliance). Not any waiting period's what's so ever.
