Incorrect info now have to pay more. Unacceptable

My husband and I went into Northgate auto page last week Monday to go and investigate his upgrade on his cellphone and data contracts. We were informed that our data contract had expired and were now on a month to month basis on an mtn unlimited contract costing us around R250.00 per month. When we were informed by the sales lady that we were only using 93megs a month we decided to down grade our contract to a 1 gig Contract as we were not using anything near to a gig of data a month, according to the sales lady and the call centre. When my husband went to fetch the new iPad, they suggested he get a dual sim on the data contract for theniPad so I didn't have to hotspot through my phone when not at home. On Saturday I go through to Northgate as 3 days later the sim is still not working. I meet with the store manager only to find out that we are using over 4 gigs of data a month so that is why it is slow. Tis is now a problem as my data is now going to be charged at a high rate due to incorrect information. They contact my husband only to offer him another package which is still going to cost more. We want the contract cancelled and reverted to what we had. Sim not working still
