I did research on LTE in the country and found that Vodacom offers it, thus because of the type of user i am, i changed my iPhone 4s for an iPhone 5 MAINLY BECAUSE OF LTE!!

it speaks about how LTE is available and it shows all the information you need.

To my surprise after i got my iPhone, i immediately did a software update and INSTANTLY my phone stopped working and just say "NO SERVICE"

I looked at the coverage map and both my place of employment and where i reside are on that map of coverage meaning i should have LTE reception, now the only way i can use my phone is with LTE off!!

Now what was the point of me getting a phone with 4G if it doesn't work?? Also, Vodacom misled me by giving me false information 1st on the site saying LTE is available secondly when i called the call center i was told LTE is currently not available for pre paid users and only for contract, whereas a colleague of mine who is on contract has the exact same problem with LTE... Why is vodacom lying to us consumers and not even saying anything about any LTE issues or is this a sign to leave vodacom?
