I bought Vodacom unlimited plan for 1999 per month with an iphone 5. after much effort, i got this contract - and the iphone 5 has immediately gone out of service over and over again. i returned the phone and got a replacement - and the problem repeated. a quick chat with apple, i learned that vodacom's LTE service is not really orking properly and that it causes the iphone 5 to go out of service. i was advised to turn OFF LTE and now the phone is working just fine. vodacom has sold me a service that does not work, and further, they encouraged the use of LTE even though they should know that the LTE service is causing this problem with iphone 5.
