The lamest worst excuse that I have ever received on a repair of a phone. I'm in a catch 22 situation where my sons phone stopped working, and Vodacom refuses to repair it because they cannot verify the IMEI number to correspond with the contract. What the am I supposed to do now, I'm being accused of removing the number, or handing in a false phone for repair. They say it is the manufacturer of the phone that is refusing to fix it, and not them. Yet when I spoke to SAMSUNG directly, I was told that Vodacom uses their own agents, and not the Manufacturers directly. Somehow now the fault now with me for putting the sticker right next to the sim card, which could have 'possibly' faded the number from removing the sim card. So what the h e l l am I supposed to now do with a phone that does not work on contract?
