I've had this problem with 8.ta several times before in the past year. I'm a pre-paid customer, so i purchase my airtime over the counter, i use this airtime for calls, smsing and internet on my phone. Radomly when i try to connect to the internet the 8.ta homepage would keep coming up, saying my data bundle has run out and i need to purchase a new pre-paid data bundle. This keeps happening for up to two weeks at a time and then switches back to normal. When contacting the contact centre no-one is able to assist, when i've taken my mobile phone in store they unable to assist and advise i should buy a pre-paid bundle. I fail to understand why i should be forced into bying something i don't want by big corporations trying to make money off the little guy. If i'm happy using my normal airtime for calls and internet that should be my decision, thats very bad customer service. I will definately be thinking of changing networks as this type of service is rediculous!
