I recently bought an 8ta data bundle through 8ta self service which is not user friendly at all. Only to find out that the data bundle purchased has no coverage in vryheid, as 8ta piggy backs on mtn network, and cant select 8ta network!! When i called 8ta to find out whats happening I spoke to Zanele who assisted me, and said we should find out about coverage before purchasing bundles, how are we suppose to know the difference between telkom mobile (thinking this is suppose to be 8ta) and all networks?!! She said I would not be refunded as this is not their problem. So what am I suppose to do with a bundle Ive paid for but cant use, and which will expire in the next couple of months, all im asking is to either refund the airtime or convert to a data bundle that piggy backs on mtn which is cheaper than the bundle selected!!
