I recently ported from CellC to Telkom mobile, and I cant say i am happy with the service i am currently receiving
I bought Telkom Mobile 250mb data on Friday morning, But kept on receiving sms's saying that i'm using internet out of bundle then I contacted customer care with no avail. Eventually a consultant (Phindile), told me that in order for me to use the Telkom Mobile data bundles I need to be connected to 3G and not GPRS/Edge which is what I currently connect with.
Basically what she said is that I cant use my Data bundle if i'm using GPRS/Edge connection. Which simply means that my data at this moment its useless.
And now I am being charged for (Airtime) Data whilst my Data bundle is in tact. This is unacceptable
I cant wait 30 days to port back to CellC and their bad network, at least their customer service is much better than Telkom
