I ported to Cell C (my phone contract) in the middle of January, leaving me with a contract for my Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 with Vodacom (Value = R369 p/m).
I therefore expected to pay pro-rata for my phone for January the contract amount for my tablet & after that only R369 p/m, unless I go over my cap (which hasn't happened yet to date).
I was invoiced an amount of R792, 60 at the end of February for some reason (R369 for my tablet and R423.60 for something I am not aware of).
I then contacted Vodacom and spoke to Pheleka (REF#: 281462089). She told me that my account was linked to another phone number (082 067 4873), which I never signed for. It seems like someone is making calls and I have to pay for it. I don't know this number, nor have I ever given permission to link it to my account.
I am only supposed to have 1 contract with Vodacom and that is my tablet (phone number = 071 491 4167). I therefore expected to only pay R369 at the end of February.
Could someone please assist me to correct this, as I called Vodacom on Saturday (2 March) and I was told that someone would contact me on Monday (4 March) at the latest. It is now 2 days later.
