I walked into a Vodacom store on Wednesday to sign up for an additional phone contract. The price quoted was R429. That evening I looked though an ad in the paper which reads for the exact same contract - WasR429 - Now R369 Car Charger (an addition that was not on the R429 deal.)
I called the Vodacom store about this and was informed that Vodacom will not allow me as the customer the benefit of the R369 deal unless I went to Vodaworld.
I cannot believe that the subsidiary of an International Telecoms vendor will have different pricing for the exact same contract. I wonder is this not false advertising - considering that the front page says in bold Offers valid 7 August - 8 September 2013 - [URL Removed]
