I went on the Vodacom website on Saturday 1 December 2012 to upgrade my cellphone contract. I thought wow this is a very nice service that Vodacom offers it's customers, if only!!

As soon as I did the upgrade on the internet, I received a notification confirming that they will process my upgrade. According to the website it takes, 3-4 working days for the phone to be delivered to the address provided. WOW! After about 2 weeks, I phoned them to enquire regarding my order I placed and the answer was that it's been sent off to RAM for delivery. After that first call I received a sms stating the upgrade is on back order. Two more times I phoned between middle of December and the end of January, all the time the same answer, "It's been sent off to RAM" At the end of January I phoned and asked very nicely to cancel my upgrade in order for me to go to a branch and do it there. Still NOTHING! In February I phoned two more times to ask for cancellation. 4 Months later, still no phone and not even the contract changed, but my upgrade date on the website is changed to 2015. Now I'm stuck. I WANT TO CANCEL ALL 5 OF MY CONTRACTS NOW AND MOVE TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER.
