I went to an MTN store 23/02/2013 to take out a contract for an iPad was told there is no stock event though it was hugely advertised. I settled for a laptop that i was advised i would get on the 26/02/2013 after several trips to the store i got it 1/03/2013 because they coukld not register something on the system. I then find out the data has not been loaded and the 3g sim is not RICA compliant how on earth did the modem leave the store? I try call the call centr the contracts department and i get passed from pillar to post with no assistance. According to CPA laws i can return this laptop and cancel the contract as it is still within the turn around time. These are the very reasons why i ported to cell c! How can i be billed in full for a product i have not utilized. Laptop was late after wasting petrol to go check it at the store after i was told its ready and now i have the laptop it has no data. MTN service is PATHETIC!
