On the opening week (27/09/2013) of the new makro store in amanzimtoti, they had a special on the Samsung I5 laptop. The advertised price was R5999. The store did not have stock and my name was placed on a list to be contacted for when stock arrives and I would receive it at the above mentioned price.
I was still not contacted on the 29/10/2013 (more than a month later). I went to the store to enquire and was told by the manager that I would be contacted by Friday 1/11/2013 because they were not going to give me the laptop at said price. I went to the store on 1/11/2013 because I was still not contacted and the manager was not available. My details was yet again taken down. I received a call at 4pm and was told that I would not receive the laptop at R5999, I could get it at R7499.
This is unacceptable because I was told I could get it at R5999. The customer service I received was pathetic because I am a loyal customer who has been with them for many years.
