I took my BlackBerry in for repairs as the speaker has not worked for 3 months. Nashua Douglasdale referred me to Midrand as they can do the repairs while I wait, another 2 hours off work, Midrand says they cant repair while I wait, they will book it in for 30 days!! In the meantime, after a "fight" I managed to secure a replacement phone. Not a smartphone!! After another argument, Nashua will credit me for the BIS billing of R59, while in for repairs. This replacement phone can only sms and make and receive calls. So now my bill will increase with at least 50 fold, as a result of not having access to BBM or Whatsapp!
When I requested for my "Contacts" to be transferred to my SIM, otherwise I have no access to any of my business numbers, I was told flatly NO!
For a consumer of nearly 20 years with the same service provider, this is shocking treatment. What benefits are there for consumers that are loyal. I will tell you one thing Nashua Mobile, I am taking all my contracts away form you. And don't try and call me!!! MY PHONE IS NOT WORKING!!!
