I marked this one as a Compliment - merely because it is NOT a Complaint, but a reflection of my experience.
Having been with Afrihost for a long period, I have noticed a decline in their dedication towards their clients - Lip service and empty promises became the order of the day (and of course, blaming Telkom for the problems that their clients experience).
After numerous complaints and spending vast amounts on constant calls to their Help Desk, finally got me to realise our business relationship is not getting better and I moved on to another ISP.
Call it coincedence, or maybe the "honeymoon" period, but since my move, I no longer have random disconnects, line sync issues and latency (yet my ADSL line is still the same). In conclusion, I can only believe that my issues I experienced was created by Afrihost.
For those of you that are getting frustrated with the service levels you are receiving, I can only recommend that you do not go through the frustrations that I have experienced, always hoping that things will get better - break away, there are better service providers out there at competitive rates, all you need to do is shop around.
