My phone was from me on Friday 22 Feb 2013. I went in to Vodashop Cresta to file an insurance claim and fill in the required forms on the 23rd. Upon completing the forms I was advised that the claim would be sent through by Vodashop and I should wait to hear whether the claim was successful or not. 6 days later, on Friday the 1st of March I went back to Vodashop Cresta as I had not heard anything yet. I was told to phone Vodacom Insurance myself and find out, which I did, only to find out that the claim had not been put through. Eventually, after an hour on hold on two seperate calls, I managed to get a VHS number. The claim was processed, but the phone could not be scanned at the till. A simswap had already been done by Vodashop staff. I was told that the cost was wrong and that this would be sorted out in the morning, On Saturday morning, the problem was still not sorted out, and the cost price was apparently still wrong. On Sunday morning, after waiting 40 mins in the queue, the problem STILL had not been rectified. Now I have been told to go back AGAIN to try and sort out the problem. That is 10 days without a phone, instead of the 24 hours stated on the website!
