My cellphone just died on me suddenly. I took it to the CellC Westgate Branch to be booked in for repairs on 31 January 2013. The consultant at Westgate was not very professional but service delivery in this country in any case went to the dogs. Weekly I called Customer Care to followup on the progress of my phone and everytime I'm told the phone was sent to Samsung and that it would be ready next week. Last week Tuesday I called again and as many other times before wait an eternity to be put through to any consultant. The lady told me I need to fork out R4290 for the repairs of my phone. The phone is covered by C-Cover. She insisted I have to pay that amount. I asked to speak to her supervisor and only then was told to speak to CCover directly. I spoke to Natasha Gobi and she promtly emailed me the necessary forms. That is were the helpful service stopped. This past Monday I had to again call and followup on Natasha. She called me and told me my claim was approved and I could fetch a replacement phone. I emailed her and asked for a confirmation email. Nothing was sent to me and the store I nominated to fetch my phone has no idea of any of this.
