On the 19th December 2012, I submitted my blackberry 9700 bold at Carlswald branch for repairs. The LCD screen was damaged. I never received any feedback since then, until I went to the shop on 16 January 2013. They told me that my phone repairs are too expensive to fix and out of warranty, hence they can't fix it.
They then advised me to claim my repairs through C Cover since I was covered by them. I followed their advice and filled up the C Cover incident form on the same day 16 January 2013, which they promised to submit to C Cover together with the phone. They told me that a consultant will contact me once the phone is ready for collection.
Days and weeks went by without getting any call from any consultant until I decided to find out the progress on my phone. Initially I was dealing with Ian, then Pulane. They both send me from pillar to post, telling me stories and promises that he could not keep. Always when I called they told me that they are following up the matter, but couldn't give me tangible feedback on the progress.
I eventually decided to escalate this matter to Cell C head office. It's a month now and the progress is very slow.
