I recently applied for a contract through Mtn for a data bundle. The contract was for R139 per month for 2GB of data. After applying online, I was contacted the following day for my banking details. After waiting for about 2 weeks for a reply, I emailed them to inquire about the contract.
They replied to my email saying that it had been rejected due to bad payment records. This I find amazing as we have just purchased a home through Sa homeloans and got a bond through them with no problem.
There previously was a judgment which was given without our knowledge and I paid lawyers to sort it out and clear my name which has been done.
Could you please explain this to me as I find this pathetic. How would we have been able to acquire a homeloan if we had a bad credit record.
Disgusting service and I will go to Vodacom from now on.
