Lost My Data Bundle

I recently upgraded my Vodacom Contract from a top up contract to an open contract. The new contact was only due to kick in on the 1st of November. On the 28th Of October I loaded a mymeg 750mb data bundle at a cost of R220. On the 31st of October I had around 725mb left of the bundle. When I checked my balance this morning I only had 200mb. So naturally I called "customer service" to enquire as to where my previous data had gone. After holding for 10 minutes the lady comes back to me saying that the data bundle could not carry over due to the change in contract!!! When I purchased the bundle the sms confirmation clearly stated that the bundle would only expire on the 30th of November. No where has anybody ever told me verbally nor in writing that my data could not carry over the transition from one paid contract to another. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
