I recently added onto my package with Virgin Mobile a 3G internet deal. I was told by the sales person at the Eastgate branch that i will be running a constant 22.2mbs. Getting home and installing, all i can say is that i am truely dissappointed. I am struggling to reach a constant 5kbs, very far from the promised 22.2mbs. Needless to say i am off. Virgin mobile needs to train their staff in the art of NOT LYING to the consumer to clinch a deal. I am an Area Manager in the retail industry and i can honestly say, that if 1 of my staff members had to do something like this to clinch a deal i would not go lightly on them. This is a complete breach of contract. I am not expecting any feedback from Virgin Mobile, as the service levels in this country is absolutely pathetic!!! I have told everybody i know (and i know many people) not to go close to Virgin Mobile internet.
Once again, another consumer is to just in order to get that precious commission.
