I bought a vodacom modem for me to use for my studies at stellenbosch. I do not live on campus and though it would be a lot more convienient to buy a wireless modem for my flatmate and I to use as this would eliminate the problem of walking back from the library late at night. However I was mislead and mistaken. I was told that I would receive 2gb of data a month and this would expire. I was also told that the internet would be very fast and this modem would meet my needs. 4gb down the drain and I am still sitting with no internet. I asked for my gb to be carried over as vodacom is experiencing "problems" and as a result of their "problems" our internet doesn't work. I was told my gb will expire and that is that. As I expressed my concern to my friends, I found out they have the exact same problem with their vodacom modems. I have tolerated the problem since january and as I am a student money is very precious as well as internet access (expecially now as I have projects to do).
