Cannot cancel 2 Vodacom contracts.signed in Jan'11, start paying the 1st cell double in Feb'11 (Vodacom promised to refund the 1st payment - they did'nt) 2nd debit started end Feb'11.Vodacom never sent a notice 40 to 80 working days prior to contract ending. (As per sect. 14 of Consumer Protection Act). On 13th Dec'12, While logged into voda account on website, I mailed them NOTICE OF CANCELATION of ALL contracts.(Logged in to authenticate myself) -no provision for authentication details) I also complained the online itemized billing shows no history and they must cancel immediately. When I phoned on Fri the 1st of Feb'13 to verify my notice letter of cancellation. The Vodacare said there's no cancellation letter. On mailing and complaining, they replied that I did not reply my authentication mail. No one from Vodacom contacted me to tell me that my Notice was not valid. Due to Vodacom's incompetence, the 24month contract changes to a 26 month contract. After complaining and informing Vodacom I will be porting these numbers to better network, I received sms's/emails that numbers will be deleted.already lodged a complaint to national consumer commission.will send letter to media as well
