ADVERSE LISTING ON CREDIT BUREAU

Vodacom blacklisted my name without sending me notice. I had an account with Vodacom which fell into arrears. Vodacom proceeded to blacklist my name and claimed that they had send me due notice as required by NCA. I disputed the blacklisting at Tansunion and requested Vodacom to send me proof that they send me notice. After the stipulated 21 days Vodacom send documents to TrasnUnion purported to have been send to me with notice to list me. Upon checking the documents send by Vodacom I noted they did not have my correct address. The address to which the notice was send was not the same as the address that was on the contract that I signed. The address on the notice was:

Cape Town
Wynberg

My address as per my contract and copy of proof of residence that I provided to Vodacom is:

609 Grand Central
155 Main Road
Wynberg
Cape Town
7800

Vodacom send to TransUnion a copy of my contract and proof of address with the correct details. I did not change my address at any time. I never received the notice as it was send to incorrect address due to Vodacom own fault.
