Vodacom thinks they're making things easier

On 29 January 2013 I logged onto Vodacom and saw the option of doing an online upgrade. Furthermore, there was a note stating that I would get R150 off if I upgraded online. I placed my order. On 1 Feb I had called to query the delivery date and I was told that the phone I had ordered was on a back log. The new shipment was expected to arrive on 4 Feb and I can expect delivery on the 7 Feb. On 8 Feb I had called upgrades again and I went through an automated system, which informed me that my upgrade will be delivered on 12 Feb. On 13 Feb I called and spoke to Thando. She informed me that there was a note stating the delivery of my upgrade was unsuccessful and she could put the request through again for delivery, which would take another 5-7 working days or I can go to a Vodashop to re-do my upgrade process there. (hopefully they have stock) No-one knows why the courier returned the goods and refuse to find out. If I place the order again, will the courier have issues again? Then I have to wait ANOTHER week!
Why did no-one notify me that the delivery was unsuccessful? Why is the automated service giving false information? Why do I have to wait 20 days for delivery? And the R150??
