A month ago my blackberry white 9780 was booked in for repairs. Two weeks later i was told by mtn the phone couldnt be fixed and therefore my phone was replaced with a blacklisted handset.
a) to begin with my original phone which i brought from mtn on contract was not blacklisted
b) my original phone was white and was replaced with a black one.
After the whole ordeal mtn sent it back to repairs only last week friday (08/08/2013) and this happened on 31/01/2013, this is the day mtn submitted new forms back to repairs with the blacklisted phone. i called mtn last week to find out the progress with regards to my phone and i was told (a week later) the phone is still in store as the person who assisted me (Lerato in Hyde Park) has been on leave. I am extremely and utterly disappointed with the overall service i have received since the day my phone was booked in for repairs. i never receive any sms notification with regards to whats happening with my phone instead i am the one who has to keep calling them to find out what is happening.
