I bought a Blackberry and Vodacom starter pack from Hi-Fi Corporation on the 1st May 2013. Suddenly on the 1st July 2013 the phone stopped working. So thinking there was a problem with the handset went back to Hi-Fi Corp so they could book it in for repairs. Last week I find out that the handset has been blacklisted but they cant tell me by who.
I sent in a request yesterday to Vodacom to un-blacklist the phone. So today I get told that I need to phone the and Risk department as they blacklisted the phone. Spoke to a Manager, Matsie Mthembu, who treated me like a criminal and told me she blacklisted the phone as the client reported on HIS phone. I am a woman and if I did not call in then who did? And how dare they treat me like a criminal. I get told to PROVE that I bought the phone?!?!
I am disgusted in the way I have been treated and expect an apology and compensation for the inconvience caused. The phone and SIM are registered in my name with all my personal details so you tell me how can they take instruction from some man???
I have been with MTN for over 20 years and now I know why - VODACOM!!!
