MTN Cell No 083... my number (since dawn of MTN). Contact - under company name. Never missed a payment, ave mothly R2600-00.
Various issues: Incorrect VAT number (various attempts to fix, No response). Handset lost in aircraft incident, - needed early upgrade. I suggested offering various options - including additional payments, etc. Could not be serviced at usual MTN agent / counter. 2 weeks - headoffice etc, wrong accounts manager - etc etc etc
29 DEC 2012 Finally - at an MTN direct store - Menlyn Shopping Mall. Countersales person - finally spoke - Pesron: Unice Oor, and after speaking with her directly - I SAID: I am opting "early out" what does it cost - right now to op-out > - R4500 (remainder - to June 2013).
AGRREMENT WAS - pay the amount, account is stopped, moved to prepaid - retain the number (to be ported by another service provider. I paid immediatly - at the counter - the lady scanned the receipt/ and 4 other support documents / letterheads and e-mailed - with clear instructions.
1 week later - nothing was functional. I was informed that the contract had to be reinsted at my cost - to be ported. 2 weeks later - STILL NOTHING!!! All e-mails available.
