Not activating simcard for new contract

Extremely poor customer service! I was instructed by Cell C garden route mall to open a contract with Cell C direct as they did not have any iPhones in stock. The phone finally arrived last Friday after almost two weeks and numerous phone calls later.

Even after several phone calls and many complaints the simcard has not been activated yet. My vodacom prepaid number has also not been ported yet even though I believe it is a quick and simple process to port prepaid numbers. My wifes phone arrived on the same day and her prepaid number was ported immediately without any dramas.

A manager is never available to speak to me when I want to escalate the case and I also never receive the promised call back to explain the problem or how it will be resolved. Cell C in garden route mall also shrugs it off and refers me back to cell c direct - extremely frustrating!

I don't have a cell c number so this has cost me hundreds of Rands in phone calls already. This is my final attempt at getting the phone activated - if this does not help then I will cancel the contract and keep on using my Vodacom prepaid account which has never given me any problems.
