My Blackberry Bold 9780 was handed in for repairs in the first week of December 2012. After 3 weeks of it being sent in for repairs, I received a call from a Cell C representative notifying me that my phone was not going to be repaired as it had been declined by C-Cover. The reason given: contract sim card was not used in the Blackberry handset at the time of the incident. As my Blackberry handset was no longer functional, I had no choice but to remove that particular sim card and insert it into another one of 4 Cell C contract handsets. Had I known that removing that sim card would result in non-repair of my contract phone, I would not have done so. I have sent a letter of appeal to Cell C and that too was declined. However, I consider myself a very valued Cell C customer as all my lines and that of my friends and family are with the Cell C Service Provider Company. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service received from Cell C with regard to this matter and therefore will not be renewing my lines when they are due.
