Transfering an Exciting Account

I have been trying to contact Telkom to arrange a transfer from existing to my new residential landline as well ADSL, and test to see whether the line is active, however I spent almost 45 min to 1 hour on the telephone waiting and listening to " Voice Operator" telling me the they are experiencing High Call Volumes and that my call will answered shortly. This has been going on for almost a week everyday.
