I applied for the Telkom Simple package and was prepared to take a 24 month contract. The operator told me I can't have it as I am already an ADSL customer. This was never evident on their advertising, only buried deep in their conditions on the website. Telkom is being greedy by not offering deals to existing ADSL customers.
Because I would continue paying more otherwise, I am changing my ADSL line to an ISP (for a saving) and Telkom loses my ADSL business. Their loss.
