For the past 3 weeks i have been trying to change my telkom line which includes an adsl line and have it converted to a prepaid phone line with telkom. I have been into the PE Walmer Park branch twice, have phoned from their hotline phone as well as my home phone to 10210 but everytime there is no answer. I was in the store for a full hour and left without anything being done and not even an attempt at a solution by the staff.
I am told that you have to phone 10210 to have this alteration done, but how on earth must it happen when the phone is never answered. I was told I also need to give Telkom a months notice, I will not be giving any further notice than February, you cannot hold people randsom to a notice period when you dont even answer the phone to perform the service!
Absolutely shocking and incredibly frustrating.
