4.5 Months with no internet

So for over 4 months we have been getting the run around from Afrihost - their slogan "Pure internet joy" should read "pure internet and customer service "

I would not recommend Afrihost as an ISP to anyone at this point and in fact I would recommend steering clear of them!

We have not been connected for over 4 months (granted my room mate and I have traveled for about a month each but the resolution time is still unbelievable!!!)

My room mate and I have literally spent hours on the phone and have strings of e-mails back and forth (most of them telling us the same troubleshooting steps which are ineffective). We have been given multiple routers to try which have been "configured" by their experts, none of which have worked. They passed the buck and blamed telcom, but telcom technicians came and confirmed the phone line was not the issue.

Granted, some of the call center agents showed genuine interest in helping, but too little, too late - and the last attempt which was guaranteed to work... did not.

I forget the best part... We have been billed for most of this time as well!!! Awesome feeling paying for nothing! Not even an offer to refund us or at least offer a discoun
