Afrihost - The home of pure internet JOY? Really?

I recently subscribed to Afrihost as they promised that they "are the home of pure internet joy" and as their packages were priced well.

I had my Telkom line converted to ADSL which apparently was finalised by the 18th of October. I tried using my internet for the first time on the 19th, but had no ADSL service at all.

To date it has not worked for even a minute - I've had no service and has not even used one byte of my 10GB package.

I logged a support ticket on Saturday the 19th, and only had a response on the 21st - so much for 24/7 service???

I had to phone the call centre on the 22nd and EVENTUALLY got through and spoke to a Lucky who promised me that he will escalate the call to Telkom with "high priority" - don't know what this means as I've still had not heard anything ever since?

I logged another ticket last night, and only received an SMS to confirm, nothing else!

I tried phoning the call centre again today, but eventually hung up after 9 minutes of listening to their recorded messages.

So it seems that it is time to end my joyous time with Afrihost... What do you think Afrihost?
